"I want this car out in the marketplace so that somebody is sharing it with 50 of their friends and elevating the brand. That's what I want—not sitting in your showroom with a rope around it." !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! FCA looks to be saying our dealers are willing to fuck you over, be careful.

The dealers are there to protect the people from the evil OEMs. It's ok. /Sarc

I understand his point, but wow that's a harsh thing to say. Totally out of the normal for corporate speak.

This is great. I love that FCA is completely throwing the dealers under the bus.

I mean what are the dealers going to do, try to argue that the "market adjustment price" is a benefit for the community too? There is nothing that they can do to defend themselves other than saying "Fuck you we can do what we want."

I am almost positive nothing will come from this, FCA won't put on it's big boy pants and either remove inventory from said shady dealers or reprimand them for not only ripping off customers but also helping destroy brand image.

Nothing says "Please buy a Dodge" like ripping off the few customers that come in for your halo car.

Well they wont take the car away they've already delivered. But it sounds like they are threatening the dealers with future shipments of the Hellcat. Which could work, especially if they wait lists are as long as it seems they are.
